Studio & Practice

Where raw concepts and reclaimed histories are transformed into authored works of art.
In my studio, Transformation is the primary medium. My practice is rooted in the belief that objects carry residual histories—memories of their former utility and the people who held them. Much like the lives that encounter them, these materials are shaped by processes of change.

I work at the intersection of sculptural assemblage and personal history, moving beyond the "everyday" to reveal the hidden elegance within reclaimed materials. My work draws parallels between the life cycles of landscapes and human experiences, inviting a space for contemplation, healing, and connection. Whether I am working on a delicate piece of Artifactual Adornment or a large-scale Wall Hanging Sculpture, my process remains the same: a deliberate act of harvesting, deconstructing, and re-assembling—a quiet metaphor for resilience and renewal.

From Fragment to Form

The journey from a discarded fragment to an adornment, sculpture or vessel is a process of both physical labor and intuitive listening. I approach each material through a three-stage metamorphosis:
The Harvest & The Inquiry

My practice begins with the selection of recognized everyday items—the broken, the forgotten, and the reclaimed. I look for materials that carry a "residual history," questioning what they have witnessed and how their form can be re-imagined. This is the stage of gathering the raw concepts of human experience.

The Deconstruction: Embracing the Broken

To create anew, one must first dismantle. I deconstruct repurposed jewelry and found objects, breaking them down to their essential elements. This stage mirrors our own cycles of transformation; it is the necessary "brokenness" that precedes healing and renewal. I work with the material’s history, not against it, allowing its previous scars to inform the new design.

The Re-Assembly: Refined Craftsmanship

The final stage is the sculptural assemblage. Through soldering, weaving, and structural refinement, I give new form to forgotten histories. I combine the raw, weathered textures of the original objects with meticulous, high-concept craftsmanship. The result is a narrative-driven investment—a piece that proves that beauty is not found in perfection, but in the resilience of being made whole again.

The Language of Matter

In my practice, materials are chosen for their ability to mirror the human condition. I work with copper for its conductive warmth and its honest response to time; like us, it carries a patina of its environment, growing more resonant through exposure and age.

My use of repurposed jewelry and found objects is an intentional nod to our shared resilience. These elements are the physical remains of forgotten histories and personal narratives. By harvesting the broken and the discarded, I am able to explore the parallels between the life cycles of a landscape and our own experiences—proving that even the most fragmented pieces can be re-assembled into a form of enduring strength and beauty.

The Portfolio of My Practice

My work spans several scales of engagement. In the Gallery, you will find my archival explorations—sculptures and unconventional wearables created for exhibition. For those looking to bring a piece of this narrative into their own lives, the Shop features a curated selection of available Artifactual Adornments and Vessels.

A handcrafted sculptural vessel made of hammered copper resting on a piece of weathered driftwood, displayed on a dark countertop.
"The meeting of elements: a hand-formed copper vessel finds its anchor in salvaged driftwood. Wall-Hanging & Installation (The Architectural Scale)
