This eclectic necklace set is a reminder to look for the beauty in unexpected places. I was inspired by memories of my grandmother and mother teaching me to sew. I loved all the textures and colors and mostly the bobbles.
Here zippers have been fashioned into flowers, a silk blouse transformed into beads, forgotten vintage buttons, and once loved jewelry components now have new life in an original whimsical garden theme assemblage design by Janise Crow.
This multimedia necklace and earring set is an all-around statement piece and it can be worn casually or formally.

I enjoy creating visual interest with various textures, colors and out of the ordinary findings. This necklace is made from vintage components that have been pre-loved so as with all vintage items, some evidence of wear is to be expected. It is, however, in excellent vintage condition! I believe it is the slight "wear" showing that makes these items even more lovable - - definitely makes them "shabby chic" with a nostalgic feel.
